SPRING!

It is finally spring!  The kids race out to the backyard, pull off their coats, boots and socks and run in wild circles, arms open, heads back, laughing at the sun.  "I don't want winter to come back ever again!" That's from the girl who likes "cold things" - even she is done with this winter!

With weather that is both sunny and above zero, we've been outside daily.  I don't anticipate fitting nature study into our routine to be much of a struggle.  I'm looking forward to many upcoming months of hiking and exploring.

I love spring.

Dress up to tidy up?  why not.  In case you are wondering, she is a "construction worker tidy-up fairy" (who didn't really help all that much with the tidying up!)

Who Says Winter has to be Boring?!

The kids have been outside almost every day (when the weather is warmer than -7 - my personal cut-off).  Playing in the snow, digging snow, sledding down the front hill and down Daddy's man-made monster hill out back.  However, we have also had a LOT of days that are too cold for little people to be outside.  I think for the most part, they have found many fun things to do!
