Phil Hays (1930-2005) Made really cool work in the 50's and 60's. The above images were for Cosmopolitan, I think. His work unfortunately did not age well, in my opinion. He got into airbrushing in the 70's, and his work was never the same. :/ You can check out some of his older work in this flickr set here.
